With the 2012 Aussie Millions Poker Championship going on in full swing, Tuesday saw the Day 1c of $10,000 Main Event. The event saw a house full of great names such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Tony G and Jason Mercier.

Day 1c ended on Tuesday with the completion of seven levels of gaming and some splendid poker action. The game started with a head count of 317 which went down under 150 at the end of the day. Robert Lam leaded the way after accumulating 198400 in chips.

The majority of the big players waited till the final starting day to commence their gaming action. Daniel Negreanu, Daniel Alaei, Jason Mercier, Phil Ivey, Joe Hachem, Nam Le and Erik Seidel were all seen in action on this day.

Ivey took an early chip lead and secured his position for most part of the day. After Ivey reached the six figure mark, he peaked at 175000 chips before he started to lose chips. Ivey then dropped down to around 85000. Ivey then doubled his count in a huge clash with Shane Warne and got back at the top of the scoreboard. At the end of Day 1c, Ivey finished fourth with 184000 in chips.

Even though Ivey performed greatly on Tuesday, Daniel Negreanu, Daniel Alaei, Joe Hachem, Nam Le and Erik Seidel were all eliminated from the Main Event. This day was also especially tough for Jason Mercier as he was stuck around the 30,000 mark for most of the day. He did however manage to acquire a considerable number of chips by using a diamond flush against contender Dan Smith. Mercier finally finished with 61600 in chips.

Other notable successes of the day included Michael Pedley, David Steicke, Jason Koon and Melanie Weisner..
