Steve Dannenmann Relives 2005 WSOP Main Event Final Table

If you are a veteran follower of the poker events, then you would always think about the World Series of Poker final table of 2005 whenever you think about Steve Dannenmann.

That event was won by an Australian chiropractor Joe Hachem, who got the better of a strong 5,619 players to win the $7.5 million prize money event. He became a star overnight, but there was one more player who made a huge mark for himself at the final table and that was Dannenmann.

The CPA from Maryland, Dannenmann was very happy to be part of the event and said that he had a very good time playing the final table of the 2005 WSOP main event. He said that nothing has changed in his life after the 2005 event. He is sad that there are not many $10,000 tournaments now like before and this is why he does not play poker that regularly nowadays.

Dannenmann said that he got recognition after the 2005 WSOP event and that is the reason why someone recognizes him every day. He said that he gets easily spotted wherever he goes and that is due to the final table appearance at the 2005 WSOP event. Dannenmann is now into real estate and enjoys flipping houses. He buys the foreclosed homes, gets contractors to fix the homes and then quickly sells it away.

Steve says that poker is boring and he has lost interest in playing the game. He says that he was the poker table only to have fun and he plays poker for fun. He goes to work to make money and playing poker is just for fun. Steve said that he always takes the globe that he had at the 2005 WSOP final table to all the WSOP events that he attends.
